Our R&D Projects
Pre-clinical validation of NPS functionalised with EUPHORBIA LATHYRIX biomolecules as a novel targeted therapy for advanced CRC
Preclinical validation of NPS functionalised with EUPHORBIA LATHYRIX biomolecules as a new selective therapy for advanced CRC Project focused on advancing the preclinical validation of a new treatment for advanced colorectal cancer based on the use of a complex of biomimetic nanoparticles linked to biomolecules from ethanolic extracts of Euphorbia lathyris that has a high and selective antitumour activity against this type of tumour.
Participating entities

Project funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III and the Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial in the joint action programme for innovations in personalised medicine and advanced therapies.
Resolution granted under PMPTA22/00136 or IDI-20230073.

Plant-based nano-pharmaceuticals with anti-tumour activity against colon cancer
Project focused on obtaining functional extracts derived from solanaceae, cucurbits and legumes, which can be used, individually or in combination, for the preparation of nanodrugs with applications in the prevention and/or treatment of colon cancer.
Participating entities

Project funded by the RETOS Collaboration Programme 2017, with EU ERDF funds managed by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Government of Spain.
Resolution granted under file number RTC-2017-6540-1.
Valorisation of waste derived from fruit and vegetable crops to obtain nutraceuticals active in colon cancer and metabolic syndrome.
Project focused on obtaining functional extracts that can be used, individually or in combination, for the prevention and/or treatment of colon cancer and metabolic syndrome.
